How CarGurus is driving buyer engagement with Contactless Services

We want to highlight the key initiatives our Consumer Marketing team are working on to drive consumer adoption of the vital Contactless Services dealers like you are providing right now.


We’ve added an onsite banner on that promotes safer buying with CarGurus. Buyers will also see an expandable modal window on the homepage explaining the new filters and what they mean.

Contactless Services filters are also available for buyers on the search results page to refine their search. They appear at the top of the standard filter options.

Consumer marketing campaigns

Our Consumer Marketing team has created a new organic COVID-19 campaign for Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube highlighting the new search filters and services dealers are offering for safer buying. This campaign will continue throughout May. They also launched search engine marketing to activate buyers who are searching for a safer way to buy a car during the pandemic, driving buyers to a landing page that gives them more context on Contactless Services you’re offering.

Finally, the team has created a new television ad that introduces CarGurus’ Contactless Services. You will start seeing this ad on a television near you later this month.
