As dealerships continue to adapt to a new normal, our focus remains helping dealers connect with buyers quickly and efficiently. That’s why we’re excited to announce the launch of our new integration with WhatsApp, the popular social messaging app.

The integration of WhatsApp to the CarGurus platform is especially impactful for dealers because it delivers a better experience for car buyers, who benefit from increased convenience and faster response times to their enquiries. For dealers, these advantages have led to 10% week-on-week growth of lead volume via WhatsApp.

How it works

Much like our existing Managed Text and Chat functionality, CarGurus messaging experts will handle all leads that come in through WhatsApp and answer any questions on behalf of the dealership. We’ll deliver all of the lead information straight to the dealer’s CRM system or specified inbox. Dealers will also get a full transcript of each conversation so they can effectively manage the customer’s onward car buying journey.
