How it works:
Available to dealers on an Enhanced or above Listings package, Highlight helps you get more buyers on specific vehicles by featuring certain stock in more sponsored slots beyond the first page and further down the SRP. You can choose from four stock category-specific “Highlight Strategies” in your Dealer Dashboard:
- Aged Stock. Promote listings with the longest time on site.
- Approved Used Stock. Promote vehicles with proven value.
- Newest Model Year Stock. Promote your most recently produced used car stock.
- Qualified Stock. Promote your great, good, and fair deals.

For the first time, Highlight allows you to create a promotion strategy on CarGurus based on stock type and offers the following advantages:
- Strategically promote stock. Get more control over the vehicles that you promote, giving your selection an extra boost in visibility.
- Reach the most committed buyers. The lowest funnel buyers click through several SRPs to look for the right deal.
- Boost your exposure beyond the first page. Exclusive sponsored slots start at the top of the second SRP and every ten listings on mobile.
