As global inventory shortages linger with no definitive end in sight, we decided to dig into our search data from the first quarter of 2022 to see what’s trending among buyers in the UK. In particular, we looked at which used makes and models were the most searched on CarGurus in 12 UK regions.
After analysing the data, we found that when it comes to sought-after vehicles, Mercedes-Benz remains a top brand with both the C-Class and E-Class models ranking in the top 10 most-searched vehicles in almost every region. Mercedes-Benz even scored the top position in 4 of the 9 counties in England. Other leading brands across all regions include Ford, Audi, and Volkswagen.
