Supporting our customers during the COVID-19 crisis

(The following email went out to our dealer customers on 3/18. We’ve heard that it didn’t reach everyone we wanted to, so we’re republishing it here.)

As the COVID-19 situation continues to unfold around the world, we wanted to let you know that we at CarGurus are thinking of you – hoping you and your family are safe. It’s an unprecedented situation and we, like you, are working hard to figure out how to adapt to the rapidly evolving circumstances.

We understand that the situation in the UK is creating a very difficult climate for your business, and we want to be able to support you during this period of uncertainty. That’s why we are immediately notifying you that:

  • We’ve reduced all listings subscription rates applicable to April by 50%.
  • Your subscription will still be active, your contract with us will remain effective, and you will continue to receive leads, but as buyer activity has slowed, we expect lower volumes.
    We’re committed to trying to support you through these times, as always, and getting through it together.
