The COVID-19 pandemic is rapidly reshaping our daily lives and we continue to be impressed by the creative ways our dealer partners are evolving their businesses in this new environment. Now, more than ever, our Engineering and Product teams at CarGurus are working hard to develop products to support dealers and continue connecting them with buyers.
Starting this week, CarGurus customers can highlight any contactless services that their dealership is offering directly on CarGurus. Buyers can filter their search results based on five contactless services:

In addition to offering dealers 50% off May subscriptions, our engineers are working around the clock to test improvements we can make to CarGurus.co.uk, so that when you return to regular business, our platform is optimised to help you sell more cars.
One of those improvements is a new look to CarGurus.co.uk Search Results Page (SRP) that successfully improved buyer engagement when tested in January and February. You’ll benefit from more unique buyer interactions. The new layout improves the likelihood that a buyer submits a lead—resulting in more leads from more buyers.
2018 was a banner year for us here at CarGurus: we announced the launch of our first TV advert, our Gurus held and attended dealer events across the country, and we published lots of new content to help you sell more cars.

At CarGurus, we’re working hard to give our dealers better tools to solve the challenge of attribution. We recently launched an update to our Dealer Dashboard that should make it easier for dealers to see which CarGurus leads bought a vehicle.
Lead details added to Removed Listing Activity section
The Removed Listing Activity section isn’t so much new as it is improved. This section lets dealers see their recently sold/removed listings, along with a breakdown of all the CarGurus leads and connections for those vehicles. What’s new is that we’ve added the details of those leads so it’s easier for dealers to tie a specific lead to the sale of a particular vehicle.
