The CarGurus Product teams have been hard at work, continuing to build new products and feature enhancements that give our dealer partners more of what they need to succeed. Here are the key CarGurus product improvements you can expect now, and in the weeks to come. 

Highlight Just Launched!

CarGurus recently launched a new product, Highlight, enabling dealers to promote stock beyond the first Search Results Page (SRP) to reach the most high-intent shoppers. This resolves multiple stock pain points and gives dealers full control of their stock promotional strategy:

  • Aged Inventory: Target slow-moving stock by promoting listings with the longest time onsite
  • Newest Model Year Inventory: Boost visibility of your most recently acquired stock
  • Approved Used Inventory: Feature vehicles with proven value

Facebook Display Now Available!

CarGurus recently launched a new digital display advertising product, Facebook Display, to complement its existing onsite ad display product. We build a unique audience of ready-to-buy shoppers and re-target them with ads on Facebook that drive to your website.

Site tests to drive lead conversion

CarGurus is continuously making improvements and visual enhancements to our search results pages (SRP) and vehicle detail pages (VDP) to optimize shopper lead conversion. You may periodically notice tests of new designs on both desktop and mobile, but rest assured your dealership information will always stay the same.
Some upcoming design changes to modernize the look and feel of the VDP include:
  • Re-designed dealer information section that makes it easier for shoppers to navigate to and read your information
  • Sticky lead form that stays on the screen while a shopper scrolls down the page to drive lead submission
